As a result, online learning experiences can be further optimized by creating personalized support and adaptable features that cater to the unique personalities of learners, thereby enhancing their learning outcomes. Within this context, research has comprehensively explored the relationship between personality traits and online learning strategies. However, the specific effects of personality disparities on learners' conduct while they are learning are a subject of ongoing investigation. This investigation leverages lag sequential analysis (LSA) to explore the navigation patterns of 65 learners over a three-month online course, grounding the study in understanding the connection between these patterns and their personalities. The five-factor model (FFM) was employed to ascertain the personalities of the learners in this particular context. Different learning approaches were found to be associated with different personality types among learners, enabling them to engage with and complete the course material. Extrinsically motivated learners are frequently characterized by high levels of extraversion. Therefore, they seamlessly switched their concentration between the course module and their own personal milestones. By examining the findings of this study, we gain a deeper understanding of how specific personalization features can benefit learners with diverse personality types, thereby contributing to the adaptive learning field. Personality-based differences in navigational patterns, as revealed by the findings, can further advance the field of automatic personality modeling.

The importance of cultivating athlete autonomy and problem-solving skills for optimal performance and holistic development is evident in the field of sports coaching. Still, further analysis into how coaches apply and value different training techniques and how athletes interpret and appreciate them is desirable. An examination of the perspectives of coaches and athletes on the use and perceived value of reproductive problem-solving, productive approaches, and athlete-driven instructional strategies was the goal of this research. Consequently, the Coaches' Use of Teaching Methods Scale, verified for coaches and athletes, was applied to 70 coaches and their 294 athletes from youth sports teams, selected specifically from four cities in Turkey. Analysis of the data was performed through nonparametric methods, including the application of Friedman's and Mann-Whitney tests, which reached statistical significance at p < 0.005. Though statistically significant discrepancies arose between coaches' and athletes' views on training strategies and their significance, a common pattern emerged in both groups: widespread use of reproductive methods, infrequent use of productive problem-solving, and almost nonexistent implementation of athlete-initiated training approaches in their respective training programs. The athletes' self-generated productive teaching methods were rated higher in terms of enjoyment, learning, and motivation by the athletes themselves than by the coaches. A group of 932 Spanish undergraduate students took part in the multi-group structural equation modeling research. Analysis of student data indicated a correlation between high academic achievement and difficulties in emotional regulation, manifested in both direct and indirect forms of aggression.
